Mahindra & Mahindra has announced the introductory pricing for the 4×4 variants of its latest off-road model, the Thar ROXX. The starting price for the 4×4 variants is INR 18.79 lakh, offering a blend of rugged off-road capabilities and premium comfort.

The Thar ROXX is powered by a robust 2.2L mHawk diesel engine and is available in two power configurations. The 4×4 manual transmission (MT) variant delivers 111.9 kW and 330 Nm of torque, while the 4×4 automatic transmission (AT) variant offers 128.6 kW and 370 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission and enhanced by Mahindra’s 4XPLOR system, the Thar ROXX is built to handle a variety of challenging terrains. With brake locking differentials and electronic locking differentials, the vehicle ensures exceptional traction and manoeuvrability for superior off-road performance.

Designed to mitigate the toughest environments, the Thar ROXX comes with the following features:

4XPLOR System: Provides improved traction through an electronic locking differential, making it easier to navigate difficult terrains.
CrawlSmart Assist: India’s first low-speed control system combined with IntelliTurn for precise, effortless manoeuvring in tight spots.
Off-road Capabilities: Best-in-class approach, departure, and ramp-over angles, with a 650 mm water-wading depth, ensuring the vehicle is ready for any adventure.
Adventure Display: Equipped with Gen II Adventure statistics display, compass, roll and pitch altimeter, and drive modes (Zip and Zoom).
Terrain Modes: The 4XPLOR system includes specific modes for snow, sand, and mud, enhancing the vehicle’s adaptability to various off-road conditions.
