TDR Soil Moisture and Temperature Profile Sensor - SoilVue 10

The SoilVue™10 is a soil water content profile sensor powered by Campbell TrueWave™TDR technology. Campbell Scientific’s proprietary TrueWave TDR technology combines a best-in-class rise time with an advanced waveform analysis technique to determine the true travel time of a high-frequency pulse. Not all TDR-based sensors perform equally well.

HydroSense II Handheld Soil Moisture Sensor - HS2

The HS2 is the handheld display for the new Hydrosense II soil-water sensor. When paired with either the CS658 or CS659 portable soil-water probes, it replaces the previous Hydrosense soil-water system. It features a new handheld display and a new probe design. The HS2 handheld has been designed to be compact and portable, with the layout of the buttons allowing for operation with one hand.

GroPoint Profile

GroPoint™ Profile is a scientific-grade and cost-effective soil moisture probe that measures the volumetric water content and soil temperature over multiple depths using a single probe. It can be deployed in sensitive agriculture zones to enable full control of irrigation, increase water-use efficiency and provide an understanding of water movement throughout the soil.

Unlike other multi-depth soil moisture probes, GroPoint Profile is the only one on the market to provide a true soil moisture profile. It continuously measures the soil moisture across the entire length of the probe by averaging the volumetric water content across each segment (15cm or 6″). This unique feature provides continuous measurements of water movement throughout the soil rather than at discrete positions on the probe, which cause “dead spots” in the soil profile.

The sleek, lightweight design installs quickly using a pilot rod and slide hammer tool with minimal soil disruption. Our soil probe design eliminates the cumbersome excavation that is required when installing other profiling probes. GroPoint Profile is designed for vertical installation to make continuous soil moisture and soil temperature measurements over multiple soil layers.

GroPoint Pro

  • The GroPoint™ Pro soil sensor is robust, reliable and highly accurate. It provides a cost-effective solution for measuring soil moisture, soil temperature, and salinity (electrical conductivity or EC).
  • This SDI-12 soil moisture sensor also functions as a wetting front detector, providing a separate output for the wetting front measurement. By placing the tip of the soil sensor just above the bottom of the crop’s root zone, the wetting front sensor will indicate when the water has reached the bottom of the soil sensor. This allows irrigation to stop precisely at the right time to ensure only the water needed is applied.
  • The sleek, lightweight design installs quickly with minimal soil disruption. When installed vertically, the soil probe averages volumetric water content over a soil layer of about 6” (15cm). When installed horizontally, the soil sensor can measure soil moisture at a specific depth.
