Trimeter

Trimeter – Three Parameters at the Lowest Possible Cost

The Trimeter holds any one sensor* from the Sensor Parameters list, PLUS temperature and depth sensors (both are optional). For example, a Trimeter configuration could be turbidity, temperature, and depth.  Another example could be DO and temperature. Eureka’s communication cables are compatible with all Manta and Trimeter multiprobes.  Trimeters are as versatile as our flagship Manta multiprobe line when it comes to applications variety.  Connect the Trimeter to one of our field display options for sampling in the field, or add a battery pack for autonomous long term deployments.  Connect to a telemetry station for viewing real time data in the cloud. *Exceptions include PAR, CO2, ISE’s and Transmissometer.

Manta F35

Eureka has fitted its highly successful Manta+35 Water-QualityMultiprobe with a copper-filled, silicone “nose cone” that covers all of the exposed sensors except the critical measurement surfaces.A central wiper keeps those measurement surfaces clean, meaning that you get better data and minimal clean-up.

Water-Quality Monitors

Eureka’s MantaTM Multiparameter Water-Quality Multiprobes have been workhorses in the field for over 15 years. Their reliability, data integrity, and lifetime cost are the best in the professional class of multiprobes. But even with innovations like the central wiper and consumable copper-gauze kits, they could not completely conquer a multiprobe’s worst enemy: sensor fouling.

Until now. Gone are the days of measurement surfaces affected by foulants, and endlessly scraping algae, silt, and barnacles from the sensors. The problem is the algae, fungi, bacterial slimes, barnacles, silts, etc. encountered by your multiprobe during logging runs. Not only do they degrade data and increase maintenance, but they can ruin sensors. The solution requires sensors whose measurement surfaces are in the same plane, a wiper with the appropriate brush material, and an easily removed, disposable “nose cone” that covers the exposed sensor surfaces and uses copper to keep biota from attaching to the sensors.

The F35’s unique silicone “nose cone” fits snugly over the sensors to protect the sensor bodies and the active sensor surfaces. The nose cone is easily removed should it become damaged, or when you are doing sensor maintenance (such as changing an ISE tip).

A copper-less nose cone is available, as is a silver-impregnated model. And note that the nose cone has the additional benefit of reducing the volume of solutions needed for proper calibration. The nose cone works in fresh and salt waters, for biological and non-biological foulants.

  • Ease of Use. EasyProbes are easy to calibrate and deploy. Our hallmark is simple intuitive software you can walk yourself through in just a few minutes. You will not need a manual to learn the software features.

Connectivity is Easy

The EasyProbe is the multiprobe itself. It communicates via the underwater cable to the mantaMobile™. The mantaMobile is a rechargeable, high-capacity lithium battery and a Bluetooth transceiver in a waterproof (IP67) case. The mantaMobile communicates via Bluetooth to just about any Android or Apple display device, including tablets and phones. The mantaMobile will power an EasyProbe for eight hours or more. mantaLink™ is the software app used to access the functions and data from your EasyProbe. Installing mantaLink on your display device (phone or tablet) takes just a few minutes; after that, connecting the EasyProbe to your display device takes just a few seconds. MantaLink features the usual functions (such as calibrations, parameter selection, Snapshot data capture, etc.), plus geofencing, automatic logging, data email, and a mercifully simple menu structure. With mantaLink’s black background and large, white letters, your data device is easily read in sunlight.

EasyProbe Specifications

Multiprobe specification charts often come with footnotes stating qualifications such as “accuracy specification good at the time and temperature of calibration” or “all values within 1 standard deviation” or “SC accuracy applies only at the calibration point”. To avoid eyestrain from reading small print, the EasyProbe specification chart has “lab accuracy” and “field accuracy” columns. The latter gives you a more realistic idea of how your multiprobe performs, over time, under common, varying field conditions
