1000cm² Class A Rain Gauge - PL1000

The PL1000 class A rain gauge consists of a cylindrical body in anodized aluminum with a collection surface of 1000 cm² on which a funnel-shaped collection orifice is mounted which conveys the water through a filter towards a stainless steel weighing scale made with a knife-edge support system. A reed contact detects the switching of the weighing scale, filtering any disturbance due to false rebounds. The shape of the mechanical parts has been designed to minimize the phenomena that retain or divert the flow of water, concentrating it instead towards the nozzle in the center.

Also available in a heated version for cold climates (mod. PL1000R) and with MCS module for signal normalization ( 0÷2Vdc, 4÷ 20mA, RS485/Modbus ).

400cm² Class A Rain Gauge - PL400

The PL400 class A rain gauge consists of a cylindrical body in anodized aluminum with a collection surface of 400 cm² inside which a funnel-shaped collection orifice is mounted which conveys the precipitate through a filter towards a stainless steel weighing scale made with a knife-edge support system. A reed contact detects the weighing scale switching, filtering out any disturbance due to false rebounds. The shape of all the mechanical parts has been designed to minimize any phenomenon that could retain or divert the water flow,
concentrating it instead towards the nozzle in the center.

Also available in the heated version for cold climates ( mod. PL400R ) and with MCS module for
signal normalization (0÷2Vdc, 4÷ 20mA, RS485/Modbus).

RainVue 10

The RainVue™️10 is ideal for many hydrological or meteorological applications such as weather stations and flood warning systems. The RainVue 10 is an SDI-12 tipping bucket rain gage in the RainVue™️ family of products. Advanced algorithms and digital processing within the sensor compensate for errors caused by high-intensity rain and provide accurate precipitation and intensity measurements. Constructed of an aerodynamic plastic funnel, the RainVue 10 is cost effective and minimizes the amount of liquid precipitation that is lost due to the effects of wind. This rain gage offers the user flexibility with the option to select from a series of set cable lengths or a user-defined cable length.

TE525-L

The TE525-series tipping bucket rain gages are adaptations of the standard National Weather Service tipping bucket rain gages. They funnel rain into a mechanism that tips when filled to the calibrated level. The TE525 and TE525WS measure in 0.01-inch increments and the TE525MM measures in 0.1-mm increments. The TE525WS conforms to the National Weather Service recommendation for an 8-inch funnel orifice. The TE525 and TE525MM have an orifice diameter of 6 inch and 24.5 cm, respectively.
