Wind direction encoder - DVE
The sensor for measuring wind direction (gonio-anemometer) is built with highly reliable and durable materials that allow it to maintain its initial sensitivity and precision characteristics over time. The mechanical robustness allows the sensor to withstand strong winds and sudden gusts (up to 300km/h). The use of a special magnetic encoder ensures extremely high resolution and precision by eliminating any mechanical friction in a complete operating angle of 360° . The electrical output is standardized in voltage or current (4÷20mA or 0÷2Vdc) or on digital RS485/Modbus, also available in the version with low power heater (5W@12Vdc) . The sensor is made in compliance with WMO (World Meteorological Organization) standards and EN 15518-3:2011 .
